Business video platform provider Qumu, a unit of Rimage has released a new version of Video Control Center (VCC) 6.2 platform application which supports mobile devices including Windows Phones, iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets.
Qumu Video Platform enables the enterprise to manage, organise and securely distribute live and on-demand video to each desktop and every mobile viewer.
The upgraded VCC platform includes support for mobile devices for live video, employee generated content, and other uses. It also includes social enhancements for mobile including interactive live events, rating and commenting.
Qumu’s new release comes with both HTML 5 and native app support on mobile devices, SAML support that provides user authentication inside and outside the firewall and improved content preparation including automatic transcode and version management.
It also includes Qumu Pathfinder technology, the dynamic content routing based on device and bandwidth that provides viewers with a single link.
