Bedouin, America Online Inc’s embedded Java browser, which is seen as a key piece of technology for future web connected devices, seems to have got lost in the desert. Despite AOL launching its first AOL Anywhere devices in tandem with Radiant Systems Inc (see separate story), nobody at AOL was available to talk about the browser technology that is supposed to be at the heart at its new technology. AOL bought Canadian company Bedouin Communications for its embedded Java technology last year.
