Founder of New York gaming firm Yoyodyne, Mark Hurst, is preparing a report on e-commerce focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of seven top shopping sites: Dell, Apple, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, AOL, CD Now and Microsoft’s Expedia, and evaluating each according to ease of use. He now runs his own ‘ease-of-use’ agency called Creative Good, h which offers a free ‘Web Help Center.’ He is penning the report jointly with partner and fellow web pundit Robert Seidman, known for his free Online Insider newsletter, and will retail for $1,500 if bought over the phone or through the mail, or $1,300 if purchased on-line. Hurst said, we identify their good and bad points and identify how they’re losing money. In order to market the report, they have formed a company called Good Reports LLC, and advance orders can be placed on the company’s web site, www.reports.com.
