Trillium has formed an alliance with Cloudera with the goal of advancing Big Data quality.
The two companies are aiming to help organisations to achieve business value within 90 days from their open source Hadoop environments.
Organisations will be able to use a single, unified platform that will apply Trillium’s data quality features such as data profiling, parsing, cleaning, matching and global address verification.
Keith Kohl, VP, product management, Trillium, said: "Hadoop’s extraordinary growth and adoption by so many organisations drives the need for them to focus on the quality of big data, and utilise data quality solutions that are infinitely scalable across multiple domains and data sources."
"The alliance with Trillium Software and Cloudera provides a platform that completely meets these needs."
"By combining our industry-leading Hadoop and Cloudera-certified data quality solutions, we are bringing the Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub to our mutual customers."
Having now been certified for Cloudera Enterprise 5, Trillium’s solution can help create accurate views of customers in order to prepare data for critical applications such as customer insight, fraud detection and purchase analysis.
Tim Stevens, VP, Business and Corporate development, Cloudera, said: "With Trillium Big Data and Cloudera Enterprise, companies can natively and seamlessly integrate data quality solutions into their Hadoop platform. To get maximum value from data, it needs to be accurate, complete and accessible."
