Vodafone Germany has unveiled Secure E-Mail, a corporate customer service that will facilitate creation of encrypted electronic messaging from PCs, and mobile devices.

It is designed to protect corporate messaging for ‘everyman’ and includes a password-protected security seal, reported Telecompaper.

The telecom giant also announced a Technical Service Cockpit at the CeBIT trade fair, which will facilitate companies to oversee network availability at each of its sites. It can help the company fix any network issues immediately.

The company is also likely to provide assistance to fixed line customers in case of service outages, and in case of disruption, the smartphone is likely to become a Wi-Fi hotspot and connect the PCs to with temporary internet service.

Vodafone will also provide a global platform to medium-sized businesses with affordable networked equipment and will provide services up to 40% percent less for smaller companies.
