MARKETWAVE ADDS STREAMING BEHAVIOR TRACKING

By CBR Staff Writer

Marketwave Corp has added the ability to track the use of streaming media on a web site to its hit List line of web traffic analysis tools. The Seattle-based company says it currently supports Microsoft Corp’s streaming technology and support for RealNetworks G2 will be added when the product is launched this quarter. It reports how users interact with the streaming, whether they pause it, how much of it they view, how they connect to the internet and so on. The information can then be included into reports with other demographic information derived from the rest of the Hit List tools. Marketwave will launch version 4.0 of the high-end real-time Hit List Live product later this quarter. It is expected to go to beta any day.
