TSI International Software Ltd, the Wilton, Connecticut-based business application integration company, is to boost its SAP skill with the acquisition of Software Consulting Partners Inc, a SAP implementation consultant. TSI is selling its Mercator integration software to SAP customers, and says it is seeing growing demand, with 200 SAP customers now using its software, which helps SAP customers link up to legacy systems, other applications, data warehouses and the web. The acquisition of SCP – which it has agreed to acquire on undisclosed terms – will give TSI additional integration and training resources for both its customer user base and for third party software providers who embed or re-sell the Mercator product. The combined company will employ 300 people. Privately held SCP is based in Philadelphia, with offices in Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and the Netherlands.
