Compaq Corp is working with Novell Inc to deliver caching appliances. An official announcement is expected at Novell’s annual BrainShare event later this month. Novell already has FastCache Services 3 built into its Border Manager Suite. A Compaq representative told InfoWorld that the company now sells 35 percent of its products into the Novell NetWare market. A joint entry into the cache device market could prove lucrative for both partners.
