Xacct Technologies, has extended its alliances with billing system vendors by partnering with London-based Certis Ltd, itself the European operation of CGI Inc of Canada. As with Xacct’s previous alliances, Certis will integrate the Tel Aviv-based software developer’s XACCTusage metering and mediation package for internet protocol networks into its billing and customer care offering, which is marketed under the name ADCAMS.
XACCTusage enables traditional billing software developers to add IP mediation to their existing systems, greatly extending their capabilities in the face of growing IP-based voice, data and video services. Since May Xacct has formed similar alliances with Burtonsville, Maryland-based ASC Billing Solutions Inc, Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based Castle Networks, UK-based Saville Systems Plc, the Danet Group from Germany, Portland, Oregon-based Usha Communications Technology and Edinburgh, UK-based Kingston SCL (KSCL).
