Wide area networking (WAN) platform provider iPass Managed Network Services (MNS) has launched a new dual-circuit WAN IP VPN application, MultiLink Connect.
The new application provides a fully-managed secure network for enterprises that employ a Frame Relay, MPLS, or other WAN services to connect various locations.
MultiLink Connect provides a dual-circuit network at each location with increased bandwidth options, improved security and back-up capabilities to help insurance companies, healthcare providers, financial services institutions, retailers and other enterprises increase network efficiency and uptime.
The dual-circuit WAN IP VPN application offers a fully-audited PCI compliant network to ensure end-to-end security and broadband speeds at 10-20 times higher than other private line applications.
It also provides consolidated invoicing to save time managing multiple bills, vendors and MultiLink network monitoring and real-time failover technology.
iPass MNS vice president and general manager Chris Linden said the MultiLink Connect technology will allow customers to take advantage of high bandwidth to deliver and enable the Wi-Fi infrastructure customers are demanding.
"It also helps businesses improve performance for business applications, maintain security, and deliver back-up capabilities with faster speeds — all at a more affordable cost structure than private networking technology," said Linden.
