America Online Inc has appointed its longstanding counsel, Ken Novack of Boston law firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, to the position of vice chairman. Novack will report to AOL chairman and CEO Steve Case. He will continue in his duties at the law firm. á
