Object software tools house Rogue Wave Software says revenues for the second quarter ending March 31 should be about $10.2m, up 32% year-over-year but down 6% sequentially from the $10.9m first- quarter. Earnings per share are projected at between $0.04 and $0.05 before one-time charges related to the Stingray Software acquisition. The consensus estimates for the quarter were about $0.13. The company has a handful of excuses including the assimilation of Stingray, delays of a number of large orders due to industry mergers, and lingering effects of last fall’s sales reorganization. Full second-quarter results are due April 21. Rogue Wave shares fell $6.4375 to $9.0625 on Thursday.
