With an eye on the future market for wireless device chips, Texas Instruments and ARM Holdings PLC have teamed up to develop a DSP and microcontroller design which will support 3G and other standards. The collaboration, which the companies will announce today, will attempt to combine a 32-bit RISC ARM core with TI’s DSP technology. á
