Qualcomm has released Mobile Computing Platform 50 (MCP50) which will offer cost effective fleet management application to transport industry.
MCP50 is expected to help transportation companies meet safety and regulatory compliance requirements manage their business operations and cater to companies with different fleet sizes.
The company has also launched flexible new monthly pricing plans which will deliver key applications to address specific fleet operational goals of companies with varying budget.
The applications include Hours of Service, CSA Safety Performance Service, Critical Event Reporting, CoPilot Truck In-Cab Navigation provided by ALK Technologies, Performance Monitoring with Fuel Manager, Analytics Manager and Vehicle Inspection Report.
Qualcomm is planning to include Circle of Service Workflow, Trip Manager and Vehicle Maintenance to the MCP50 in future.
MCP50 features applications to meet the core operational needs of the fleet managing companies including the safety and compliance requirements, such as FMCSA’s HOS regulations and CSA programme.
It can be smoothly integrated with the third-party enterprise software systems while the the one-hour in-cab installation process will allow the fleet managers to adopt the application easily.
