Information technology (IT) and professional services provider CSC has signed a three-year business process outsourcing services contract with the US-based insurance firm AMERISAFE.
Under the contract CSC will utilise Legal Bill Analyzer, a component of CSC’s Legal Solutions Suite to manage and automate legal expenditures for AMERISAFE, strengthening transparency in legal matter planning and communication with outside counsel.
The company’s customised BPO application for AMERISAFE includes a range of services, such as bill review, resolution, reporting, invoice management and Web hosting support.
The agreement provides a low-risk approach to transform operations and control costs, and encourages collaboration between AMERISAFE and law firms.
CSC Property and Casualty Insurance Division president Jeffery Schwalk said AMERISAFE leverages components of Legal Solutions Suite with its BPO capabilities to gain measurable efficiencies in legal matter management.
