Digital video surveillance software firm Milestone Systems has released the new version of XProtect Corporate 5, a software for high-risk security installations, with XProtect Smart Client 7.
The Smart Client is an operator tool for all video management software (VMS) which includes a new streamlined interface in the new XProtect Corporate 5.
The streamlined interface helps improve usability, making it easy to monitor installations of all sizes, access live video, investigate security incidents and export recordings, besides it also featuring new tabs to deliver improved workflow.
The Smart Client new tabs include a sequence explorer for fast searching of video thumbnails, an alarm manager for visual verification and response to alarms and a system monitor for instant view of system performance.
The interface also features a new digital signature to protect secured exports and detect tampering and the reporting feature provides detailed configuration results.
XProtect Corporate now supports 64-bit Recording Servers and offers multi-layered maps linked to alarms. It offers a built-in support for XProtect Smart Wall, giving overview of installations and command center control.
