Hewlett-Packard Co has become the latest major firm to back the Application Service Provider Industry Consortium as an executive member. HP says it will commit resources and participate on education activities, research and development committees, and in writing technical specifications. Membership of the ASPIC now stands at 105, including the 25 founder members, 53 executive members and 27 associate members. It was launched on May 11.
