Fujitsu has developed and released Interstage Big Data Parallel Processing Server V1.0, a software package that raises reliability and processing performance.
Combining Apache Hadoop with Fujitsu’s proprietary distributed file system, Interstage Big Data Parallel Processing Server V1.0 allows for improved data integrity while obviating the need for transferring data to Hadoop processing servers.
The new software package, which is based on the latest Apache Hadoop 1.0.0, brings together Fujitsu’s proprietary technologies to enable enhanced reliability and processing performance while shortening deployment times.
Fujitsu’s server software uses a Smart Set-up feature based on Fujitsu’s smart software technology and the system automatically installs and configures a pre-constructed system image on multiple servers at one time for quick system and server deployment.
The new system features Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), a proprietary distributed file system that delivers improved reliability and performance.
