Online charging and policy management services provider MATRIXX Software and consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider Capgemini have entered into a partnership to take their clients to the next level of mobility.
The partnership will deliver a new application that offers Communications Services Providers (CSPs) with visibility and control of data services across their mobile networks.
MATRIXX Software’s smart charging technology claims to provide a 50 to 100 times efficiency gain enabling CSPs to transform raw usage data into actionable information in real-time.
During the trials of patent-pending application with some Tier I mobile operators, the MATRIXX Charging Engine demonstrated improved scalability, availability and BSS-OSS interoperability, said Capgemini
Capgemini Telecom, Media and Entertainment Practice Sector lead Dee Burger said for the last few years, CSPs have tried interim, inadequate services in an attempt to shore up issues with mobile data.
"Mobile data is the main driver for growth in the Telco industry for the years to come. Capgemini is anticipating these future needs and, with MATRIXX, we now have the technology to deploy smart charging and policy on a commercial scale," said Burger.
