Cap Gemini SA has signed a global services and support deal with Siebel Systems Inc. The two companies will work together on implementing Siebel’s enterprise resource management, ERM software. Cap Gemini will allocate over 300 consultants to Siebel projects worldwide and demonstrate Siebel software to potential customers in its US and European business simulation centers. ERM is a catch-all term describing software such as sales force automation packages that enable companies to interact more efficiently with customers.
