Entegrity Solutions Corp. the San Jose, California based enterprise security software and services company announced yesterday that it had agreed the terms of acquisition of Sapher Servers Limited, a UK based cryptographic software company. John Curran, Entegrity’s vice president of European Operations, said the deal would bring Entegrity development skills and access to a new client base. the UK Government is among the users of Sapher’s Secrets products. Spaher will gain from Entegrity’s greater visibility and its access to venture capital and other investment resources. The acquisition will be completed by the end of this month. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Sapher is to become Entegrity’s applications development unit, but Sapher’s development strategies will not be interfered with, Curran said. Announcements of new product packages resulting from the acquisition also expected in the next couple of weeks.
