Zenith Infotech, a firm that delivers innovative business continuity and cloud computing applications for IT service providers, has unveiled a new backup disaster recovery appliance in their series of Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) product line – the Zenith BDR-G12.
Zenith BDR-G12 is designed to provide a reliable and flexible way to backup data onsite and virtualise a server in case of emergency.
The backup disaster recovery appliance features a storage capacity that starts at 750GB and goes on up to 9TB, with a replication ratio of up to 25:1 BDR-to-BDR.
The new appliance includes a built-in StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect with "Headstart Restore" to perform a LIVE Bare Metal Restore, the ability to have a centralised reporting console and an event alerting feature that integrates with any remote monitoring and management (RMM) tool or general monitoring application.
Zenith BDR-G12 also offers an offsite storage that can replicate to a BDR-G12 located in customer’s own data centre, a BDR-G12 located at Dacentec Datacenter, a Virtual Private Vault at DacentecDatacenter and an emergency remote and onsite virtualisation.
Trivalent Group Systems Division president Mike Noordyke said the new BDR-G12 units will allow Trivalent to provide additional control, growth and functionality for the current footprints.
