Embedded wireless infrastructure offerings provider Radisys has partnered with telephony offerings and technologies provider Net2Phone to introduce an ongoing upgrade strategy for Net2Phone’s media server network.

The Net2Phone network is upgraded to Radisys next-generation IP media servers, providing Net2Phone with a future-proof, standards-based offering that will enable them to continue to deliver economical services to their end customers.

In addition, the partnership also validates the long-term benefits of Radisys’ next-generation IP media server product strategy.

Net2Phone Cable Telephony president Thom Jordan said over the years, Net2Phone has been extremely satisfied with Radisys’ media server product capabilities, value, high-quality and top-notch customer support.

"As a result, we are confident in our continued partnership with Radisys to upgrade our current media server infrastructure to a distributed network of Radisys CMS-3000 media servers," said Jordan.
