Compaq Computer Corp has signed a cooperation deal with the Israeli-based Concord Venture Fund. As part of the agreement Compaq has invested $3m into the fund which previously operated under the name of Kardan Technology Ventures. The two companies intend to meet and exchange ideas on a regular basis. At the beginning of the year the fund raised $75m for investment in Israeli technology companies through investors such as AT&T pension funds, The Chinese Development Corporation, the Bank Leumi and Discount Bank pension funds, Strauss Holdings and others.
