Samsung is reviewing the release date of Samsung Galaxy 3, following reports that it would launch its next-generation flagship Android handset after the Mobile World Congress 2012.
Samsung Senior Vice President Marketing Younghee Lee said during a recent call connected with the quarterly report of the company that they are evaluating several options and will come to a conclusion regarding the date of launch.
However, recent developments confirm the existence of the device, with a spokesman saying they will reveal their plans for the launch, when the product is ready in the first place.
The new smartphone will run on Google’s newly released Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
However, Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin expects the phone to be unveiled next month and to hit the market in April.
