Fujitsu has released the TeamPoS 7000 Point of Sale All-in-One (AIO) terminal, offering retailers an offering for providing multiple in-store touch points even in the most fashionable and sophisticated environments.

The TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal incorporates Intel’s integrated chipsets (CPU, GPU and memory) ICH-8M and Q67 and Intel’s second-generation Core processors i5, i3, Pentium, and Atom D525, enabling operating systems and application software to run at better speeds.

TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal can be configured for unsurpassed connectivity and a variety of scenarios, including countertop, column, and pole, to address the widest spectrum of retail markets, including supermarkets, convenience and specialty stores, quick-and table-service restaurants and hotels.

In addition, the new terminal also has an integrated Intel IPV6 network protocol chip that in conjunction with remote management software enhances overall network security and protects valuable customer data.

TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal features an ultra-versatile LCD design (optional scanner, camera, biometric device) with numerous mounting options (pole, counter, wall); common controller for POS, Kiosk and SCO and has been certified for Windows Embedded POSReady 7

Furthermore, the new terminal offers remote management and easy, tool-free maintenance by technical courier or trained store staff; field upgradable for long service life; single disk image for simple management; a single platform that can be deployed throughout the store; and next-generation Intel chipset with built-in upgradeability.

Fujitsu UK & Ireland Retail director Andy Taylor said the TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal is a key building block for creating the retailing environment of the future.

"This vision starts with multiple in-store touch-points sitting atop an open architecture with remote system management. We then integrate CRM, multimedia and social media, and leverage cloud integration and mobile commerce solutions to provide customers with a holistic and interactive retail experience that will increase loyalty and drive powerful new marketing programs," said Taylor.
