A man, whose iPad got stolen, is trying to recover it with the help of photos taken through the same device.
Tom Clarke, a 26-year-old software engineer, said after he shopped from a Tesco store on December 18 in Holmbush Shopping Centre in Shoreham, he realised after returning home that his gadget had gone missing, according to the BBC.
He was said to be using his iPad as a shopping list at the supermarket.
Snaps of a man in a woolly hat were streamed to his mobile phone through Apple’s iCloud software.
After some photos taken of the man with a dog and some luggage were automatically sent to his phone, it gave Clarke hopes of regaining his iPad.
Clarke said all he wanted was for Sussex Police to be able find the guy in the ‘bobble’ woolly hat because he knows who has got Clarke’s iPad.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said they were investigating and have received photos from the iPad to consider.
