China has officially launched a government online project this year aimed at getting 80% of both central and local government departments on to internet by year-end. Along with the rapid development of the network, China is now confronted with an unprecedented opportunity and challenge. To seize the chance, it is very important for China to carry out the government online project, said Zhou Deqiang, a minister of the Ministry of Information Industry.
