Topcall International AG, the Vienna, Austria messaging software company, has reported second-quarter pre-tax profit up 13.9% to 2.5m euros ($2.7m) on revenue that increased 17.3% to 8m euros ($8.6m). At the mid-term stage, pre-tax profit increased 42.8% to 6.2m euros ($6.7m) on revenue up 28.3% at 16.5m euros ($17.6m). While revenue growth in the US has been slower than Europe, directors say they are sticking to forecasts of a 35% to 45% increase in pre-tax profit and a 30% to 40% rise in revenue for the full financial year. The board also says that the outlook for 2000 remains positive and it expects a revenue and profit growth rate of above 40% as a result of its voice integration products and an improved sales and distribution organization.
