TSI International Software Ltd is expanding into Europe, opening two new offices in Germany and the Netherlands and hiring SAP AGÆs vice president of corporate marketing Albert Denz, who becomes managing director and vice president of international operations. TSI, which says the move is necessary to support growing demand for its Mercator application integration product, is particularly targeting interface integration between SAP AGÆs R/3, legacy and other third party software products. SAP business is, of course, strongest in SAPÆs home market in Germany. The company says it will use the two new offices, in Mannheim and Utrecht, as launch points for its pan-European sales and support activities. There are already offices in the UK and Paris, employing around 150 people.
