An accomplished general manager with sixteen years experience in the IT industry, Roger joins patsystems as Executive Director with responsibility for Client Management reporting to Scott Shellady, Chief Operating Officer.
His appointment comes at a time when the Company is going through a tremendous phase of growth and development whilst maintaining a firm grasp on costs. Roger is tasked with overall management and co-ordination of the account management, consultancy and support activities for patsystems clients to ensure leadership in this area with outstanding support and customer service. He is also responsible for enhancing the Company’s operational effectiveness and achieving challenging growth objectives. Roger brings to patsystems a wealth of experience in operational management, strategy development, sales and account management as well as contract management and people development.
Roger joins patsystems from International Computers Limited (ICL) where he spent twelve years working in the Financial Services sector. His last role at ICL was Director of Client Management for the Financial Services Division from 1999 until February of this year. In this role he led ICL’s drive into strategic Financial Services customers successfully delivering the company’s growth plans.
Prior to this, Roger held a number of senior management roles in ICL’s Financial Services business unit focusing on the wholesale and investment banking sectors. As Director of Core Banking Systems, Roger managed a portfolio of retail and wholesale banking software products. He substantially improved the profitability of the division and developed new business opportunities in Eastern Europe as well as enhancing the business in the UK.
