According to Swedish news agency SME Direkt, Ericsson expects operators will be forced to increase the capacity in their networks if they want to attract new subscribers. Especially outside Europe, this will outweigh the pressure to delay spending until operators’ financial situations pick up.
We don’t think that operators can afford to stop investing, Mr Hellstroem reportedly said. He added, We, of course, hope that the investments will pick up again sooner rather than later.
