In ICT markets, critical size is essential. In the new joint venture Hagemeyer, through Codis, and Getronics, through Datelcom will combine their distribution activities in the field of hardware and software, thus creating a collection of top brands and related extensive service expertise.
The joint venture will primarily be active in the Dutch market where it has a broad base. By combining the activities of both parties, logistic and operational synergies will be realised. The possibility of attracting new equity partners for future growth of the new joint venture is being kept open.
