In addition, Oracle announced that it is working with strategic partners, including Compaq, Motorola, Palm and others, to deliver solutions for the mobile enterprise that encompass everything customers need to get up and running, including software, hardware, devices and consulting services. Additionally, such solutions can be delivered to customers using the Mobile Blueprint framework through Oracle’s strategic partnership with Motorola.
The mobile-enablement of the Oracle E-Business Suite is the final component of Oracle’s strategy to offer mobile access throughout a complete, integrated set of technology and applications products and services. By delivering on this strategy, Oracle enables companies to provide customers, employees and partners with mobile and wireless access to critical business applications from any interface Web, wireless or voice thereby helping improve productivity and ultimately reducing the cost of doing business.
With the mobile CRM market alone expected to grow to $1.7 billion by 2005 according to Datamonitor, the mobile enterprise applications market represents a significant growth opportunity for Oracle. One of the first customers to embrace mobile information access across the enterprise is Kyocera Wireless Corp.
