Amazon has said that it is continuing its search for a new CFO to replace Jenson who left to take up a similar post at Electronic Arts. The company said that it has spoken to a number of potential candidates and will continue its search until it finds the best possible candidate for the position. Insiders are predicting that Amazon’s current chief accounting officer, Mark Peek, is one of the front-runners for the position of CFO.
Amazon loses more key executives
Following the departure of CFO Warren Jenson earlier this month, Amazon has now lost Mark Britto, its senior vice president of sales, services and business development and David Risher, the company's senior vice president of marketing and product development. The continued loss of key executives is being blamed on the long working hours caused by Amazon's intense start up culture.
