At the 2015 Mobile World Congress, Blackphone maker Silent Circle previewed the world’s first enterprise privacy platform, which consists of devices, software, and services built on ZRTP architecture.
The company also launched Blackphone 2, the successor of the previously launched Blackphone, with improved features and functionality.
The new Blackphone is powered by an octa-core processor, has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and includes a faster processor, improved RAM, 32GB of storage, and a longer lasting battery when compared to its predecessor.
According to Silent Circle the Blackphone 2 can be integrated with existing MDM systems like Citrix.
The company has also launched Blackphone+ which is a privacy focused tablet which, according to Silent Circle, will feature next generation privacy technology.
The software offerings include Android-based PrivatOS, which is designed to put privacy in the hands of users and not carriers, and the first major upgrade to PrivatOS 1.1 which includes Spaces, an OS-level virtualisation and management solution.
It also includes Silent Suite, a set of applications that includes Silent Phone, which allows users to make peer to-peer encrypted voice and video calls, Silent Text which texts services with burn functionality, and Silent Contacts which is capable of automatically encrypting address book.
Silent Circle Co-Founder Mike Janke said: "Traditional security solutions have failed global enterprise in a mobile world and make data and privacy breaches feel inevitable to most enterprises.
