MMO2 to evict United Business Media from FTSE 100

When BT spins off its wireless arm, MMO2, next week it will go straight into the FTSE 100, knocking United Business Media out.

Although MM02 shares are not yet open for full trading conditional trading values the company at £8.2 billion.

According to the Financial Times it was British Airways that was to be evicted from the top 100, but its share price rallied at the last minute to the cost of United Business Media.
