The Czech Republic’s Telecommunications Office has asked the government to decide on a reserve price by November 24th, ahead of the November 30th deadline for bids in the auction.
This is the Czech governments second attempt to sell the licenses. Previously the contenders have refused to bid as they believe the prices set have been too high. The government will therefore have to think very carefully about what level they set the reserve at.
The price is being discussed at the steering committee and will be discussed in cabinet, the price will be announced on November 24, if not earlier. the head of the Czech Republic’s Telecommunications Office, David Stadnik, said at a press conference.
