Under the agreement, Teleca will investigate the technical solution and financial costs to help the decision making process when 3G is rolled-out in the Stockholm subway system.
Teleca is to provide data to analyze the coverage, interaction, environmental requirements and technical issues on the subway. In addition, the company will act as an independent party to support the operators’ interests in 3G issues.
The feasibility study will provide guidance to ensure the project is completed in the best and quickest manner. The Stockholm subway is one of the longest systems in the world in terms of route length per user.
