The study, recently completed by market analyst Martin Ader, is one of the most in-depth and technical comparative analyses of workflow products available worldwide today.
13 workflow products were analyzed and ranked, including Eastman EW, COSA Workflow, MQseries Workflow, SERfloware, TeamWARE, Visual Workflow from FileNet and BizFlow 2000, with 200 features reviewed and grouped into 12 categories.
Staffware came in the top three in more categories than any other product, giving it the highest overall ranking. Staffware also achieved above average scores in more categories than any other product demonstrating an even spread of high capability, providing the best overall performance. The market leading vendor also topped the list in two categories – Throughput – with maximum points awarded – and Activity Definition.
The 12 categories analyzed were: Throughput, Processing Power, Activity Power, Dispatching & Organization, Operation & Statistics, EAI, Distribution, Internet Support, Dynamic Changes, Process Definition, Activity Definition and Ready To Use Agents.
Jon Pyke, CTO Staffware said: This study demonstrates that Staffware has a higher capability across more measures than its competitors and rightly positions us as the world’s market leading workflow technology. As the Internet enables companies to fundamentally alter the way they conduct business, organizations are demanding best of breed solutions to automate their business processes and deliver real benefits. Staffware not only delivers these benefits but helps companies to re-think how they manage their key business processes giving them a significant advantage over their competitors.
John O’Connell, Chair and CEO commented: This is the second accolade for Staffware’s products this year, following our winning the CRM Top 15 award last month in Chicago. This means our customers and partners have the benefit of knowing that they have made the right choice in using Staffware’s products – as judged by independent experts in the Workflow and CRM industry, after exhaustive studies.
