Nokia has supplied its highly cost-efficient and scaleable D50e DSLAM (Digital Subscriber LineAccess Multiplexer), network management solutions and implementation services to allow TelecomAsia to provide fast Internet access services in the densely populated capital city of Bangkok and its hinterland. Under the brand name TA Express, TelecomAsia launched its high-speed Internet connectivity service on 17th July 2001.
Our aim is to offer the most attractive and competitive range of value added services to our business and residential customers in the Greater Bangkok area where we have built a state of the art access network of some 2.6 million access lines, said Mr Supachai Chearavanont, president and CEO of TelecomAsia in a statement to the press.
