PricewaterhouseCoopers and BroadVision have been working together over the past year on more than 20 engagements, across many major industries, for Fortune 500 and new economy clients. The expanded alliance will combine the global reach, eBusiness acumen, consulting and systems integration experience of PricewaterhouseCoopers with BroadVision’s comprehensive suite of integrated eBusiness software products and services.

eReliable Commerce, a leading developer of B2B exchange technology, has already taken advantage of the growing relationship between PricewaterhouseCoopers and BroadVision.

After extensive review of consulting and eTechnology organizations, we selected PricewaterhouseCoopers and BroadVision, respectively, to assist us in the architecture and development of a prototype for our Secured Dynamic Trading Network (SDTN) for B2B exchanges, said George Nagy, CEO of eReliable Commerce. Both organizations assisted us in developing a prototype of our SDTN that provides a rules-based system for authentication, on-line negotiation, electronic contract generation, secured payment processing and logistics and shipment management.

Through its BroadVision certified training program, PricewaterhouseCoopers has trained more than 750 consultants on BroadVision’s advanced, reliable and flexible eBusiness applications, and plans to train an additional 750 consultants over the next year.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has built industry- specific, B2B prototype solutions using BroadVision technology for the consumer packaged goods and energy industries; B2C solutions using BroadVision(R) technology for the retail and telecommunications industries; and a banking solution for the financial services industry. Solutions for the pharmaceutical and insurance industries are forthcoming.

The BroadVision industry prototypes and other BroadVision technology solutions have been incorporated into several PricewaterhouseCoopers solution centers in the US and UK. Plans are underway to demonstrate these solutions at other PricewaterhouseCoopers centers in Asia and South America.
