With the Integrity Sciences acquisition, Phoenix has acquired a patent-pending cryptographic technology for strong password and device authentication. This acquisition allows Phoenix to offer a full suite of infrastructure products to address strong client authentication in connected devices.
Coincident with this acquisition, Phoenix also named David Jablon, a 20-year software engineering veteran, as chief technology officer for the PhoenixNet Division. Prior to his appointment, Jablon was the founder and president of Integrity Sciences where he developed a system for fail-safe integrity protection of personal computers and a leading commercial cryptographic system for strong password authentication.
Prior to the acquisition, Integrity Sciences was a privately held software company that developed and marketed strong password technology. Integrity Sciences licensed strong password technology for use in a wide variety of systems, and provided toolkits and consulting related to authentication and network security.
