Freedom Force, which will be showcased in the EA booth at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this week, is a comic-based superhero adventure set in New York City circa 1962 and is developed by Irrational Games. It is the first PC title to bring a team of original superheroes and villains to life in a fully immersive, 3-D tactical role-playing game. Players assume the identity of one of 25 unique superheroes in their quest to fight off the evil megalomaniac, Lord Dominion. In either single person or multiplayer modes, players can live out their superhero fantasies. The game is scheduled for release this fall.
