Apple Music has received exclusive rights to air pop star Taylor Swift’s "The 1989 World Tour Live," on 20th December.
The show is a concert film which will give her fans a sneak peek of the behind the scene action along with the entire 1989 concert.
A trailer of the upcoming concert film was released yesterday, which was also her birthday.
In a tweet Swift said: "Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes.
"I have a little surprise for you."
Concert films have become a new way for artists to provide a sneak peek to their fans, of the happenings during the concert and many artists including Katy Perry and One Direction have previously launched their concert films.
However, none of the artists chose to air the film on an exclusive platform.
According to reports, the deal could help Apple Music get an edge above its competitors as the film might attract new subscribers to the service which is also available on Android devices.
The deal has been made following an argument between Apple and the pop star, after Swift wrote an open letter to Apple saying that the company should change the terms of its initial three month free trial to ensure that artists get paid.
