Dropbox has hired Motorola Mobility’s ex- CFO and SVP Vanessa Wittman to serve as the CFO of the cloud storage company prior to its IPO debut.

Wittman will be replacing present CFO Sujay Jaswa who has been an integral part of building the business since 2010.

Jaswa is expected to leave the company until the transition completes, and Wittman is expected to start from March 2015.

Prior to working for Motorola, Wittman served as the CFO of Marsh & McLennan and had worked with Microsoft and Morgan Stanley.

Vanessa will be leading the financial operations of Dropbox to support the growth of the company around the world.

In a statement Dropbox said: "We’re grateful to Sujay for everything that he’s done here, and we’ll all miss him. He’ll stay on for the next few months to help with the transition and will continue to be a special advisor to Dropbox."
