AAH Pharmaceuticals will use the Activator technology to comply with ETP, a government-driven initiative led by the UK’s National Programme for IT (NPfIT) that allows patient prescriptions to be electronically transmitted from the medical center to the community pharmacy.

AAH customer technology controller Geoff Mackay hopes the deployment of Cyclone’s application will automate key dispensary processes, allowing the pharmacist to concentrate on developing and delivering new healthcare services. He added that more functionality will be utilized in concert with the NPfIT as compliance requirements are developed.
