VeriSign’s retail data services can be integrated as an advanced information service connection into the Digital Tempus business intelligence network. VeriSign provides a platform that enables global sharing of POS and RFID data for over 120 consumer product manufacturers and more than 30 retailers.

Users of the Digital Tempus BI Network can select VeriSign as the source of this information, which is then processed by on demand analysis services to produce store-level or aggregate forecasts, including promotional analysis and baseline forecasts.

Digital Tempus analysis services are also published as web services that can be integrated into the network data flow between retailer and manufacturer to add forecasts to historical data streams.

Manufacturers are approaching retail data strategically across their critical mass of retail relationships and leveraging new ways to simplify the analysis of data for sales and marketing teams, said Jeff Richards, VP of VeriSign intelligent supply chain services.
