The Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, situated in the English Midlands just north of Birmingham, has acquired an eB document management system which Spescom said will support compliance with the central government’s eGovernment initiatives relating to the Electronic Social Care Record (ESCR).
The eB technology will also be used to form the basis of the authority’s corporate electronic document and records management system.
This latest contract follows Spescom’s previous agreements with the Newcastle and Leicester City Councils.
