Legiant has introduced this data collection suite, comprised of Touch Data Server, Desktop and Terminal applications, in an effort to offer clients improved quality and value technology.
The Legiant Touch Data system is designed to provide manufacturing and distribution centers with a simple, paperless solution that can display real-time information to the employee, including: work order instructions, a list of open jobs, notes, and custom prompts to collect information.
The terminal application will use touch screen monitors on the shop floor which are expected to provide an enhanced data collection solution. The Touch Data Desktop application supports employees working at any computer on the clients’ network.
The Touch Data system integrates perfectly with Legiant Timecard, offering a complete package to all manufacturing and related industries, said Legiant president, Walter Ross. The program is coupled with the Legiant Timecard system, which assists companies in tracking attendance, benefits, accruals, and payroll hours.
